The Botanical Gardens
Explore the enchanting Norse Hill Botanical Gardens, where vivid colors fill your senses and every plant tells its own story. Wander through lush pathways, breathe in notes of exotic flora, and discover a world of natural wonder unique to Norse Hill Estate.
The gardens were lovingly created by Iris Hay-Edie in the 1960s, inspired by her travels and lifelong passion for nature. A Scot by birth and free spirit by nature, Hay-Edie transformed eight acres into the magnificent Botanical Gardens cherished to this day. In her own words: “Here everything I planted grew brilliantly. Tall bamboo, ginger, bougainvillea, hibiscus, tulips, grapefruit, avocado, papayas, allspice, vanilla bean creepers and endless others made the garden a magical place.”
